What's the deal with solid-state batteries from Auline? Are they actually better than regular LiPos for freestyle drones?

They're supposed to be safer and maybe last longer, but for raw power and punch, LiPo still feels better to me for freestyle. Depends on your flying style.

Different beasts. Solid-state has some advantages, especially for long range or specific applications, but for high discharge freestyle, current LiPos are still king for many pilots.

I'm new to FPV, trying to figure out which battery connector to get. What's the difference between XT60 and XT30 for their batteries?

XT60 is for bigger quads, higher current. XT30 is for smaller stuff, like whoops or tinyhawks. Depends on your drone.

XT60 handles more power, so it's for 5-inch and up usually. XT30 is for micro drones where you don't need as much current.

Looking at the 6S 1300mAh for my freestyle quad. How do these compare to like, a CNHL or Tattu pack of similar specs? Worth the price jump?

Auline packs generally hold up really well and have good internal resistance. For me, they perform as good or better than my CNHLs, maybe not quite Tattu R-line level but close.

I've got both. Auline packs are solid, good performance and durability. CNHL are cheaper, Tattu are top tier. If you can afford it, Auline is a good middle ground with great quality.

I think free shipping kicks in automatically if your order is over a certain amount, not usually a separate code.
